Black & Queer Feminism Tour

What is Black & Queer Feminism? How does it differ from white feminism? These and other questions will be answered on the guided tour ‘Black & Queer Feminism in Berlin’. The tour not only takes you to exciting places in Berlin's Schöneberg district, but also broadens the participants' horizons. The tour focuses on the inspiring legacy of Black and queer feminists in Germany, the USA and the African continent. Together, the exciting biographies of activists such as May Ayim, Audre Lorde and Ika Hügel-Marshall and their influence on the human rights movement in Germany will be explored.
