Talk: FREE - Story of a Gender Transition

A powerful trans voice is coming to Brussels. 🌈

On 25 February, Swedish writer, lecturer and media publisher Johan Jenny Ehrenberg will speak at RainbowHouse Brussels about identity, freedom and resistance.

From living publicly as Jenny in 1983 and facing hatred and threats, to rediscovering photographs forty years later that sparked the art exhibition Free, Johan Jenny’s journey spans decades of struggle, resilience and courage.

Their lecture connects personal experience to a broader political reality: why trans rights are inseparable from democracy, freedom and human dignity in Europe today.

At a time when far-right attacks on human rights are growing, this is more than a talk — it’s a call to awareness, solidarity and action.
