Queerchata Social

Queerchata is an international community of wholesome, queer people, who are here to have fun and dance without judgment. We’re degendering dance, and welcome queer people of all skill levels to lead, follow, or switch, in our bachata and salsa classes!

Class time: 5PM | Social Dancing: 6-9PM

About the class:

Our classes are designed with queer people, respect, consent, and inclusivity at the heart of everything we do. It’s how we create a safe environment full of wholesome people, who are here to dance, have fun, and build community.

Class starts with a shines warm-up (footwork), followed by partner dancing. We will be switching partners often, so you'll get a chance to experience different styles and connections, and meet other dancers. We offer variations of each move so dancers of all levels can be engaged.
