Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival (Canada) is accepting films until January 11, 2026.

About the festival:

For more than three decades, Inside Out has brought Toronto’s LGBTQ community together in celebration of the best queer film from Canada and around the world. Through our annual Festivals in Toronto and Ottawa, our filmmaker initiatives, our youth engagement and our year-round events and screenings, Inside Out is engaged every day in challenging attitudes and changing lives.

Eligibility:

The festival accepts short (under 59 minutes) and feature films (over 60 minutes)

The festival accepts fictions, documentaries, and experimental films.

Films must be produced 18 months before the festival dates.

The festival prefers short films under 25 minutes.

Acceptable screening formats at the festival are DCP, Quicktime.

All films selected to screen at the festival must include either captions or subtitles in English.
