A key DJ on the house scene, KARL.J began his career in 2013 on the advice of his friend and mentor, DJ Paulette.

He has been featured in several major French cities, but it was in Marseille that he decided to establish his residency under the label Insomniae.

No Marseille club holds any secrets for him: Dock des Suds, Trolleybus, Time, Baby, Studio 88, etc.

An activist in the LGBTQIA+ community, he has also been seen at Marseille Pride Marches, Crazy Time XXL parties, as well as LGBTQIA+ venues like Play, Poli, and Boum.

His musical style blends house and tech house for melodic, rhythmic, and technical sets.
