Following the success of ‘In English’ events organised by Sophie, Alex and myself, I would like to suggest we get together for an ‘English picnic’.

This will probably be at ‘Les Halles de Cartoucherie’ or ‘Jardin des Plantes’ if we experience an ‘Indian summer’. 😉

Let’s bring food to share as has worked before. Can I be brave and suggest you try and bring, or prepare something to eat, from an English-speaking country – Britain, America, Canada, India, Australia – the English-speaking world is your oyster (as we say in English.😉)

British delicacies include - Sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, many different sandwiches (with English bread 😏), rock cakes, scones with cream & jam, fairy cakes (🧚 Yes really!) cheese straws, chocolate cornflake cakes… 😊

So much to choose from. I can hear Google working overtime. 🤣

Come and have a relaxed time with a lovely group of people. It would be great if we can chat in English, but beginners are also welcome.

Suite au succès des événements « In English » organisés précédemment par Sophie, Alex et moi-même, je voudrais proposer que nous nous réunissions pour un « pique-nique in English ».

Nous pourrons nous retrouver au “Halles de Cartoucherie” ou au “Jardin des Plantes” si le temps est exceptionnellement beau. 🤞

Apportez de quoi manger à partager, comme nous l'avons déjà fait auparavant. Puis-je me permettre de vous suggérer d'apporter ou de préparer quelque chose à manger provenant d'un pays anglophone – Grande-Bretagne, États-Unis, Canada, Inde, Australie – le monde anglophone vous appartient.

Les spécialités britanniques comprennent - Sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, sandwichs différents (avec du pain anglais 😏), rock cakes, scones avec crème & confiture, fairy cakes ( 🧚 oui, vraiment!), cheese straws, gâteaux aux cornflakes et chocolat... 😊

Il y a tellement de choix. 👍 J'entends déjà Google travailler beaucoup. 🤣

Venez passer un moment détendu avec un groupe de personnes charmantes. Ce serait formidable si nous pouvions parler en anglais, mais les débutants sont également les bienvenus.
