AI user charter

VIBES uses artificial intelligence ("AI") systems solely for the purpose of improving the user experience, enhancing security and facilitating certain functionalities.

No personal data is used to train external AI models and no commercial exploitation of Member data is made without explicit consent.

1. Use cases

1.a AI-assisted moderation

Some moderation functions may be assisted by automated tools (image or text analysis) to identify potentially inappropriate, fraudulent content or content that contravenes our community rules. All sensitive decisions are subject to human verification before final action is taken.

1.b Banner or category suggestions

When creating an Output, the title or description can be analyzed to automatically suggest a relevant image or category, with the aim of facilitating publication and improving presentation quality.

1.c Automatic summaries

Summaries of Outings, groups or locations can be automatically generated to improve their visibility in the Application or their indexing in search engines, where relevant.

2. Principles and guarantees

VIBES implements its AI systems in accordance with the following principles:

• Respect for privacy: no personal data is transmitted to a third party without a legal basis or explicit consent.
• Security and compliance: VIBES complies with the European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (IA Act).
• No discriminatory profiling: no AI system is used to determine a Member's status, sexual orientation or gender identity.
• No automated decisions with significant legal effect are taken without human intervention.

3. Transparency and changes

VIBES regularly updates the present notice to take account of developments in the Application and the technologies used.

There may be a technical delay between the addition of a new feature and its inclusion in this manual. The most recent version available in the Application is authoritative.
